The Mission…
As part of my role with Canadian Geographic (as well as its parent company, the Royal Canadian Geographic Society), I lead or assisted in the creation of four new sub-brands: Canadian Geographic Adventures, CanGeo Basecamp, RCGS Speakers, and the Geographica Dinner. Working with the Creative Director, it was our job to not only create logos that spoke to each brand’s unique audience, but also create the photo standards, typography, and guidelines.
I am also responsible for gatekeeping the established brands of Canadian Geographic and the Royal Canadian Geographic Society by working with external partners to ensure our brands are used properly in all co-branded efforts.
